They would love to have a Halloween spin to this game since most kids consider this as one of their favorites. To give this game a Halloween tweaking, start with the props for the games. Of course, to play musical chairs, you need chairs and music. Start with the chairs and put spider webs or eerie toy creatures on the seats. You can cover all seats with black sheets and dress each one like a ghost or skeleton. Next, do something about the music. Instead of using the ordinary nursery rhymes, use songs that are Halloween oriented. You can use ghost or zombie sound effects. These will definitely give your kids the creeps and the fun at the same time.
For another truly exciting game, you can tweak the old pin the tail on the donkey game. All you have to do is turn the tail into a nail, and the donkey into Frankenstein. Frankenstein has a nail in his head, so that is where the kids must place pin the nail as well. Have each kid take turns in pinning the nail on Frankenstein, and the kid with the nearest nail placed will be the winner. Of course, only one or a few can win. After giving the winner some treats, make sure you don’t leave any kid sad, and give all of them something bring home.
